Today my boss’s boss, John, made me cry.
Don’t worry, it’s a good thing. He pointed me to a brief photo montage story called, “The Years Are Short.” Check it out and see if you cry, too.
Just when the end of the story tugs at your heartstrings and makes you want to do something meaningful, you’re taken to Gretchen Rubin’s blog about The Happiness Project.
That’s where you can get some ideas for connecting with what (and who) matters in your life. For example, you could start by selecting one of Gretchen’s “9 Tips for Making Yourself Happier in the Next 30 Minutes.”
Now you made me cry, Susan.
Thanks for sharing.
I’m going to call my daughter who’s in college, tonight.

Hi Susan!
I saw the nice mention of my blog, The Happiness Project here. I so much appreciate those kind words and you shining a spotlight on my blog! Certainly don’t mean to make so many people cry.
Best to you and be happy! Gretchen Rubin

Dr. Hendrich,
I don’t know if you remember me, but I was a student in your MBA “Organizational Leadership” class back in 1999. I use what you taught me every day, and when I saw your website I wanted to thank you. You were the best instructor I ever had. I am managing director of training for Sandals St. Lucia now. You told me to reach for the stars. I did. Now I’m happier than I ever thought I could be.
Take care,
Jamie Lange
