Inspirations

From Frog to Prince in a Blink

Paul Potts, a regular guy from Wales, became an overnight sensation when he overcame his shyness just long enough to sing a goosebumping performance of Puccini’s Nessun Dorma on Simon Cowell’s television show, “Britain’s Got Talent.”  It’s surprising blessings like this that make me want to be a better human being.

Watch the performance, and see if you are moved:

Recipes!

5-alarm / No-harm chili
Five cans
1 can medium/dark-colored beans (kidney, black, etc.)
1 can white beans (navy)
1 can corn
1 can diced tomatoes (with Italian spices for a kick)
1 can crushed tomatoes (or a second can of diced)

Add:
1 packet of taco seasoning (light salt for better health)
1 packet of Hidden Valley Ranch dry ranch seasoning (I know, sounds weird; makes the chili fabulous)

Dump it into a pot and cook on medium-low for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.

2 pts per cup.

Fabulous fare for the holidays

  1. I am an adult learner, went back to school to learn Dreamweaver when Ii was 70. Then learned iWeb. Now I am creating a course in the history of art around the world online. You can find the site at ahaafoundation.org

It is under construction and I am looking for collaborators.

Last night I used the website to teach at a school in Pakistan! We used Skype and they could see me on the little camera on my computer. We looked at the art of Cederberg, Africa because I thought they would like looking at elephants with their babies.

Folks, please explore the website and let me know if you enjoy it.

      • Susan, the site name is arthistoryworlds.org and the design is much better. I would like to work with you in any way that you want. What do you teach?
Let me know what you think of the new site and what might happen if we could collaborate.

Surgery and other stuff have slowed me down and I will pick up speed soon.
